Barack Obama played pickup with North Carolina's basketball team during his campaign.
He correctly picked the Tar Heels to win the NCAA championship in his bracket. Now he will have a chance to congratulate them in person.
According to a school media advisory, North Carolina will travel to Washington, D.C., to meet with the president on Monday, May 11. Visiting the White House to meet the president is a common reward for NCAA championship teams.
