Faces in the crowd at Blue-White

Bookmark and Share

DURHAM —If you're into ogling, keep an eye trained behind the Duke bench during the Blue-White scrimmage starting at 1 p.m. You'll see the future of Duke basketball as Duke hosts all four of its recruiting commitments in its next two incoming classes.

Forwards Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee from the 2009 class and combo guard Tyler Thornton and forward Josh Hairston from the 2010 class will be taking in annual intrasquad scrimmage.

Also, small forward Harrison Barnes, a top five prospect in the 2010 class being recruited by, well, everyone, will visit Duke next weekend when the Blue Devils hosts Virginia Union at 1 p.m. in their first exhibition game of the preseason.

Marshall Plumlee

Marshall Plumlee was also in attendance. He was sporting a #2 Duke jersey. While still very young...he stood out in the crowd.

Faces in the Crowd at Blue-White

You mistakenly said "all four of its recruiting commitments..." Andre Dawkins was the first of the 2010 commits; where was he?

WOW

i wonder who the nc state coach will be when those good recruits land at moo-u..

WOW....That is impressive!!!

In fact, the only thing more impressive than this is the fact that NC State has the number one and two high school basketball players in the country today at their practice. Not only those two guys, but they have two other top 50 signees for 2009 there, a top 15 signee for 2010 along with a top 15 point guard(already signed), another top 15 player for 2010 who we are in the final three for and a handful of other top 100 players for the 2009 and 2010 classes. But then again, good job duke!!!
