North Carolina's season-opener against LSU will be on national television, it will also be the location for ESPN's "College GameDay" crew.
ESPN's Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Erin Andrews and a cast of thousands will be in Atlanta for the Heels' opener in the Chick-fil-A kickoff on Sept. 4. The game starts at 8 p.m. (on ABC) but ESPN's coverage of the first Saturday of the 2010 season will kick off at 9 a.m., a new three-hour format.
In a new role, Andrews will host the show's first hour on ESPNU. Fowler, Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard will broadcast the final two hours on ESPN.
