Duke injury report: Riley questionable

Bookmark and Share

DURHAM — Duke coach David Cutcliffe released his injury report for Saturday's noon game at Georgia Tech and star senior receiver Eron Riley, who hails from Savannah, Ga., was listed as questionable with a hand injury.

"Questionable" means there is a 50-50 shot he will play. Riley, with 36 points, currently ranks second — Wake Forest Sam Swank is first (40) — in the ACC in scoring. He injured the hand during practice this week.

WR Austin Kelly (back) was listed as probable. CB Lee Butler (shoulder) was listed as doubtful. There was no upgrade for RB Re'quan Boyette (leg) and center Marcus Lind (shoulder). Neither will play Saturday.

For the Yellow Jackets, sophomore quarterback Josh Nesbitt is listed as questionable with a hamstring problem. Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson has named Jaybo Shaw as the starter for Saturday.

Four players are out for Georgia Tech: CB Martin Frierson (knee), LB Brad Jefferson (dislocated wrist), OL A.J. Smith (elbow), WR Andrew Smith (shoulder).
