David Cutcliffe's third season at Duke should open with a win. The Blue Devils will kickoff the 2010 season against Elon on Sept. 4 at Wallace Wade Stadium, Elon announced Tuesday.

The Blue Devils are 1-1 in openers under Cutcliffe, beating James Madison in 2008 and losing to Richmond in 2009. It's the third straight season they will open with a Football Championship Subdivision opponent.

The full ACC schedule will not be released until early February.

Defending national champion Alabama, Army — both in Durham — and at Navy are also on the Blue Devils' nonconference schedule.
