DURHAM

Thanks to a hot first-half finish by freshman guard Austin Rivers, Duke took a 32-26 intermission lead over Florida State in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

The 4th-ranked Blue Devils (16-2, 4-0 ACC) got 12 points from Rivers, six from Mason Plumlee and five each from Seth Curry and Andre Dawkins.

Florida State (12-6, 3-1) got a wild 3-pointer from wingman Michael Snaer (five points) with a second to go before half.

Duke’s big men put on a dominant rebounding performance to take a 22-14 advantage on the boards. Miles (eight boards) and Mason (five) Plumlee almost matched the entire FSU total.

Duke shot 31.4 percent and FSU 39.1
