CHAPEL HILL - Duke coach David Cutcliffe expressed disappointment for Duke's nine seniors after the Devils lost to North Carolina 19-6 on Saturday.
The Tar Heels have now won 19 of the past 20 football contest against the Devils since 1989. It was a disappointing outing for the Devils, failing to run effectively or physically match the Heels. Their ACC-leading passing attack never found the necessary precision, with receivers unable to separate from defenders. "Bottom line is we got whipped," Cutcliffe said.
Looking ahead, with three games remaining on the schedule, Cutcliffe said the Devils (5-4, 3-2) must now play their best game of the season against Georgia Tech this week. They need two more wins this season to become bowl eligible, with games against the Yellow Jackets, Miami and Wake Forest.

I've never gotten how Duke could be such a great basketball school and such a terrible football school. It just doesn't make sense. Same campus, same deal, but such different results. I mean, people take out their <a href="http://www.creditloan.com/credit-cards/">credit cards</a> and shell out hundreds of dollars for Duke basketball games, but I wouldn't shell out a cent to watch Duke football.
