Cutcliffe jokes; O'Brien sings

In comparison to Tom O'Brien and Butch Davis, anyone would look like the class clown but David Cutcliffe played the role of jester Thursday at the Pigskin Preview.
The new Duke coach's best line was:
"I called the NCAA during spring practice and asked for five extra days — because the first five days looked nothing like football."
The real surprise Thursday was O'Brien admitting his love for Swedish supergroup ABBA.

Preparing For TBA Games
Sun, 07/20/2008 - 10:49 — proctorLooking over the starting times on the schedule of Triangle-area ACC football teams, it sure seems like there are a lot of TBA games coming up this fall.
If N.C. State, North Carolina and Duke can just post victories in all those TBA games, then the Wolfpack, Tar Heels and Blue Devils are all bound to have winning seasons in 2008.
