Chiefs sign Barth

Bookmark and Share

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former North Carolina kicker Connor Barth.

Barth established UNC's records for career field goals (54) and consecutive field goals (19) last season, and had been working out in Chapel Hill after being cut by the Chiefs in August. His brother, Casey, is now the kicker for the Tar Heels.

Kickers are important

They score points when they go on the field (except kickoffs). Ask any coach, I'm sure they may not praise the kicker, but they sure do want a good one. Just ask New England and Florida St. I do see the point of making bank for kicking. Hey man, I wouldn't expect him to give any money back. If they want to pay, just say o.k.

beat down time...

Hopefully Tank Tyler and another wolfpacker, forgot his name, on the Chiefs will give that guy the hazing of his life.  amazing though, learn how to kick a ball couple times for 3.5 hours on 16 sundays in the fall and winter and make bank.  He'd be washing the Hummer and Bentley for at least a couple of weeks.
