Charges against Paige-Moss dismissed

Bookmark and Share

Charges against North Carolina freshman Donte Paige-Moss stemming from a dorm-room fight were dismissed in Orange County court on Thursday.

Paige-Moss had been charged with misdemeanor simple assault for an altercation with teammate and fellow freshman Hunter Furr in July.

Before the outcome of Thursday's court date, UNC coach Butch Davis had said he had disciplined both players, neither is expected to miss any game time.

Paige-Moss, a defensive end, is considered one of the best freshman prospects in the ACC.

it should have been..

an "in house" situation from the start.

Under the circumstances as they have been reported...

this is the right conclusion to this incident.

Not a big surprise

Given that UNC has a law school.
