Carolina-Duke rivalry headed to HBO

Without "The Sopranos" or "Sex and the City," HBO needs programming. The premium cable channel is turning to Duke and UNC for help. HBO will air a documentary about the ACC's biggest rivals in Feb. 2009, according to SI.com's Richard Deitsch.

Buoyed by a successful Michigan-Ohio State documentary, HBO and its sports president Ross Greenburg will turn its lens on the Heels and Blue Devils for a one-hour film.

Greenburg had one interesting idea (my bold CAPS added for emphasis), although you can predict the potential protest:

Greenburg said he'd like to have an advanced screening IN RALEIGH where HBO would split an auditorium in half between Blue Devil and Tar Heel supporters. "
