The ACC finished with the fifth-worst bowl record of the six BCS conferences and behind Conference USA and the Mountain West Conference.
The ACC sent a record 10 teams to bowl games but went 4-6, including a 2-6 record against BCS conference opponents.
The Pac-10 led the way with 5-0 record (4-0 against the BCS) while the Big Ten (1-6) was last among BCS conferences. The SEC, with the national champion for the third straight year, finished 6-2.
