Both Mike Paulus and Cam Sexton will play quarterback for UNC against Miami on Saturday, UNC coach Butch Davis said Wednesday.
Davis still hasn't named a starter for the Tar Heels road trip to Miami and first game without starter T.J. Yates, who is out for at least six weeks with an ankle injury.
"Which one will actually get the start," Davis said, "won't make much difference. I suspect you'll see both quarterbacks play in this game."
Paulus relieved Yates in UNC's 20-17 loss to Virginia Tech last Saturday. He completed 3 of 8 passes for 23 yards with two interceptions.
Sexton started five games in 2006 but hasn't taken a snap this season and hasn't played since UNC's 2007 season-opener against James Madison.
J.P. Giglio covers the ACC for the News & Observer, where he has worked since 1997.

Thu, 09/25/2008 - 09:39 — the Ram Man (not verified)I think we'll see Shawn (#20) get more touches at tailback. He will be better than Houston, IMHO. Regardless, our O line really needs to step up BIG time to open holes and max out on protection. If that can happen, most TBs can avg. 4.1 YPC and either Mike or Cam will have a chance to settle into the game. All they need do is get the ball close enough to our receivers, and they will go get it.I'm not worried... yet. :)
We've traded Ws/Ls with Miami past 4 years with the home team winning. If we come home 2-2, then the UConn game will be big to stay over .500 and move towards a bowl.
I'm excited to see how our Heels will do!Ram
