The ACC released its women's basketball all-confernce teams, with players from Duke and North Carolina represented.
Duke junior Jasmine Thomas was named to the first team. The 5-foot-9 guard, who is a State Farm Wade Trophy national player of the year candidate, is averaging 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals.
Thomas joins Miami sophomore guard Shenise Johnson, Boston College junior center Carolyn Swords, Virginia senior guard Monica Wright, Florida State senior center Jacinta Monroe.
North Carolina junior Italee Lucas was named to the second team. The Tar Heel's leading scorer is averaging 15.1 points per game. It's her first all-conference team selection.
UNC backcourt mate Cetera DeGraffenreid became a two-time member of the third team. The 5-6 guard is averaging 13.6 points per game and has the conference's top assist-to-turnover ratio.
Duke senior Joy Cheek also made the group as a third team selection. She has started all 29 games for Duke this season and is averaging 10.0 points and 6.1 rebounds.
N.C. State sophomore Bonae Holston, last season's sixth player of the year, was an honorable mention all-conference selection.
