tar hole bias

seeing as how the holes have the market cornered on the best players, how the hell do they only have a one game lead???

1st team: Ty Lawson (POY),

1st team: Ty Lawson (POY), J. McClinton, T. Douglas, T Hansbrough, G. Henderson

2nd team: J. Teague, T. Rice, D. Green, T. Booker, G. Lawai

3rd team: Grover, K. Singler, W. Ellington, A.D. Vassallo, J. Allen

note: 1st team is in order from 1st to 5th best player in conference

Teague over McClinton ...

First Team: Ty Lawson, Gerald Henderson, Tyler Hansbrough, Toney Douglas and Jeff Teague.

Second Team: J McClinton, T Booker, T Rice, G Vasquez and ...

Deserving or not...

Tyler Hansborough will be first team all-ACC

1998-99

Terrell McIntyre (Clemson), averaged 17.9 (better than Brand, 17.7) and was on the second team.

Also happened in 1982-83, Mark Price ...

And twice to Butch Zatezalo (Clemson) in 1967-68 and 1968-69.

Four times in conference history. I suspect it will stay at four because I don't think Rice — because of geography — will get enough first-place votes.

when was the last time the leading scorer in the ACC did not make 1st team All Conference?  valid question.
